As a trail runner and Crested Butte local, I shared one of my favorite routes with the Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association for a trail guide and marketing campaign. In summary, “Scarp Ridge Trail is a lightly trafficked alpine route in Gunnison National Forest, one of Crested Butte’s many hidden gems, and one of my favorite mountain runs.
